Mark Pennebaker, CIC uses his carrier and agency experience to offer solutions to large property and casualty risks.
Mark started his career with Liberty Mutual as producer for accounts in Southern Louisiana where he focused on manufacturing, construction, social services, and professional risks. He quickly was promoted to Sales Manager for Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas where he helped develop new producers across those states. He is proud to say that one of those producers was named Rookie of the Year for Liberty Mutual Direct Sales. Later, Mark became the Regional Manager for Commercial Accounts in the Mid-Atlantic division where he worked with six sales managers and 50 new producers to grow the commercial accounts unit in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.
Mark returned from the Mid-Atlantic to work for a national publically traded brokerage firm, Brown & Brown. Mark started his career with Brown & Brown as Vice President of Sales and Marketing where he worked to change the culture in the New Orleans offices and bring in new talent. Once again, Mark trained a national “Rookie of the Year” winner. He was promoted, again, where he took the reins of the New Orleans office, as well as the Baton Rouge and Gulfport offices for a period of time. Mark and his teams consistently exceeded their sales goals.
Mark moved to Rich & Cartmill to take the next step in his career. Their regional power combined with his carrier relationships was a perfect match and has proven to be a great partnership.
