Alex Toler is a 2014 graduate of Missouri State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Risk Management & Insurance. He began his insurance career as an underwriter for American National in Springfield, MO. He went on to operate Toler Insurance Services until 2023, when he joined an employee benefits firm specializing in self-funding strategies.
Alex joined Rich & Cartmill in December of 2025. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise across multiple industries including healthcare, construction, garage operations, and large property accounts. He has earned professional designations including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Workers’ Compensation Advisor (CWCA).
Today, Alex focuses on property and casualty insurance, where he leverages his diverse background in both underwriting and employee benefits to provide comprehensive risk management solutions. He views himself as a strategic partner in his clients’ businesses, helping them access the right resources that extend beyond traditional insurance coverage.
Alex and his wife, Mary Kate, live in O’Fallon, MO with their two children. The family is actively involved at their parish, Immaculate Conception Dardenne. In his free time, Alex enjoys boating, golfing, and waterfowl hunting.
