John Harper joined Rich & Cartmill, Inc. as an associate in 1993. He became a shareholder of the firm in 2000. Prior to joining Rich & Cartmill, he was an underwriter with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in Dallas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance and Real Estate, from Southern Methodist University. A native Tulsan, John is a graduate of Bishop Kelley High School. John has been a licensed agent in the state of Oklahoma since 1987. He holds the CPCU, CIC and CRM professional designations. He is a past President of the Northeastern Oklahoma Chapter of CPCU and has taught insurance courses at Tulsa Community College. John is a member of the Southeast Tulsa Rotary Club.
